Roche: Jemilah Mahmood

Roche announced that Jemilah Mahmood has been elected as a new member of the firm's board of directors. She is currently the executive director of Sunway Centre for Planetary Health.

She was formerly the special advisor on public health to Malaysia's prime minister and the under secretary general for partnerships at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. She served as the chief of the World Humanitarian Summit secretariat at the United Nations. Mahmood was also a member of the UN's Advisory Group of the Central Emergency Response Fund.
