Pacific Biosciences: Lara Toerien

Lara Toerien has been appointed as VP and general manager for the Americas at Pacific Biosciences. She comes to PacBio from Illumina, where she worked for 16 years, most recently as senior regional sales director for the Northeast. Previously, she was with Invitrogen. Toerien holds a PhD in biology from the University of California, San Diego, and a BS in molecular and cell biology from Penn State University.
