Meridian Bioscience: John McIlwraith

Meridian Bioscience announced that John McIlwraith has been elected chairman of the firm's board of directors. McIlwraith is managing director at technology venture capital firm Allos Ventures and was previously managing director of Blue Chip Venture Company. He was also previously SVP of strategic planning and general counsel of Quantum Health Resources and a partner at Jones Day law firm. McIlwraith has served on the boards of more than 20 healthcare and information technology companies, including as chairman and lead director of pharmacogenetic testing company Assurex Health. He was appointed to Meridian's board in 2015.
