IDT: Demaris Mills

Demaris Mills has been appointed president of biotechnology company IDT. She succeeds Trey Martin, who took a position in the genomic medicine division of Danaher, IDT's parent company. Mills has over 12 years experience within Danaher companies, previously serving as president of Phenomenex and in several roles with Beckman Coulter, including VP and general manager of the genomics and liquid handling businesses; VP of European sales; VP of global marketing; and leader of product management for the Leica Biosystems consumables business. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics and French from Smith College.
