Ginkgo Bioworks: Behzad Mahdavi

Ginkgo Bioworks announced that Behzad Mahdavi has joined as senior VP of biopharma manufacturing and life sciences tools.

Prior to Ginkgo, Mahdavi most recently served as VP at Catalent Pharma Solutions. He also held numerous leadership positions over 13 years at Lonza and was CEO of SAM Electron Technologies.

Mahdavi holds a doctorate in chemistry from Canada's University of Sherbrooke and an MBA from the University of Quebec.
