Deepcell: Giovanna Prout

Giovanna Prout has been appointed as VP of marketing of cell biology firm Deepcell. She joins the company from 10x Genomics, where she was VP of commercial marketing and, previously, in charge of strategic marketing of the single-cell gene expression portfolio. Before that, she held various roles in product marketing, product management, client services, and program management at Illumina. Prout hold a bachelor's degree in bioengineering and an MBA from the University of California, San Diego.
