Bionano Genomics: Aleks Rajkovic

Bionano Genomics has added Aleks Rajkovic to its board of directors. Rajkovic is the chief genomics officer at the University of California, San Francisco, and the medical director and chief of the Center for Genetic and Genomic Medicine at UCSF Health. Prior to his roles at UCSF,  Rajkovic was the chief of medical and laboratory genetics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, overseeing the institution's cytogenomic, molecular genomic, and pregnancy screening laboratories as well as adult/cancer and prenatal genetic clinical services. Rajkovic has published more than 150 original peer-reviewed articles and has been the principal investigator for multiple NIH-funded studies.
