BioCaptiva: Alison Williamson

BioCaptiva has appointed Alison Williamson its CFO and board member. She was previously CFO at cancer screening technology firm Dysis Medical. Before that, she was finance director at video laryngoscope firm Aircraft Medical. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, BioCaptiva is developing BioCaptis, a liquid biopsy platform for the early diagnosis and monitoring of cancer. According to the company, it captures up to 100 times more cell-free DNA than a venous blood draw.
