Ancestry: Brian Donnelly

Brian Donnelly has joined Ancestry as senior VP and general manager of AncestryDNA. He will be responsible for the firm's long-term vision, advancing scientific innovation, and leading the operational team. Previously, he was worldwide leader of diagnostics and genomics at Amazon, and before that, chief commercial officer at Codex DNA. Prior to that, he was global head of customer solutions and experience at Illumina, which he joined after leading global marketing and commercial operations at Sequenom. He has also held commercial and operational leadership positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Allergan. Donnelly holds a BS in business administration and marketing from Elon University, as well as MBA and JD degrees from Rutgers University.
