23andMe: Sandra Hernández

23andMe has appointed Sandra Hernández to its board of directors. A physician, Hernández is president and CEO of the California Health Care Foundation. She has a background in public health and in reaching medically underserved communities, notably as a former director of the San Francisco Department of Public Health. 23andMe said Hernández will play an unspecified "important role" in the company's foray into digital primary care in the wake of its $400 million acquisition of Lemonaid Health.
