Eric Whitaker

Eric Whitaker has become general counsel of 10x Genomics. Most recently, he was chief legal officer at cloud computing software company Nutanix. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief legal officer at SanDisk, and before that, he was general counsel and corporate secretary at Tesla.


Manohar Furtado

LexaGene has appointed Manohar Furtado to its board of directors. With over 30 years of experience in the life science industry, Furtado has worked in discovery research, clinical diagnostic testing, product development and commercialization, M&A activity, fundraising, and strategy. He currently serves as president and founder of Biology for Global Good and CSO and chief regulatory officer at Apton Biosystems. Prior to Biology for Global Good, he served as VP of R&D at Applied Biosystems.


Kathy Hudson

Kathy Hudson has been named executive director of the People-Centered Research Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to accelerating people-driven research that is faster, more user-friendly for patients and providers, and less costly.

Hudson most recently served as deputy director for science, outreach, and policy at the National Institutes of Health, where she played a significant role in the founding and launch of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. Previously, Hudson held positions at the National Human Genome Research Institute, Johns Hopkins University, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the US Congress.
