NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Agilent Technologies said this week that it has appointed Ron Nersesian to be company president as well as chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Nersesian has been executive vice president and COO of Agilent since November 2011. In his new post, he will continue to be responsible for Agilent's Chemical Analysis, Life Sciences, Electronic Measurement, and Order Fulfillment businesses.


Definiens has named Gerald Möller to be chairman of the company's supervisory board.
