Product Watch: PCR Company's MyFi and Ranger Polymerases


The PCR Company has launched two new DNA polymerases: MyFi and Ranger.

MyFi is intended for hot-start applications and has been engineered to increase affinity for DNA, the company said.

Ranger, meantime, has been designed to amplify templates up to 25 kilobases with "extreme sensitivity" and is intended for PCR of long templates, sequencing, mapping of chromosomal structural variations, and cloning from genomes.
