Eppendorf has launched a new version of its epBlue ID software for controlling the epMotion automated pipetting system.

The new version of epBlue ID, designed for PCs, includes a new barcode-management feature to provide secure sample tracking, the company said.

The software also offers pipetting pattern recognition, a pre-defined labware database, and built-in and organized liquid classes.
