Lumora said this week that it has appointed Hayden Jeffreys to its board of directors.

Jeffreys joined Lumora from Lab21 in January 2013 as commercial director, and has since been instrumental in securing a number of deals with global companies and organizations, as well as marketing Lumora's patented heat elution sample preparation technology, the company said.

Prior to Lab21, Jeffreys held positions at Invitron, Gen-Probe (now part of Hologic) and Molecular Light Technology.
