Premium

Scott Mendel has been named CFO at GenMark Diagnostics, the firm said this week.

Mendel joins GenMark from Active Network, where he was CFO for four years. Prior to Active Network, he worked at GE for more than 20 years, most recently serving as CFO of the company's Healthcare IT division.

Mendel replaces Richard Slansky, who will leave the company for personal reasons after a transition period.

Hologic has appointed Robert McMohan to be its next CFO, replacing Glenn Muir, who will remain with Hologic through November to ensure a smooth transition.

McMohan formerly held a number of senior positions at Johnson & Johnson, most recently as worldwide VP of finance and business development for the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics group.
