Epigenomics this week announced the appointment of Noel Doheny as CEO of the company's US subsidiary in Seattle.

Doheny will report to Geert Nygaard, CEO of Epigenomics AG, and will start in his new position in early May.

Doheny most recently served as CEO of OpGen from 2008 to 2009. Prior to this, he held positions as senior vice president for the molecular diagnostics division of Affymetrix; vice president of pre-analytical solutions and a member of the executive committee at Qiagen; and president and CEO of BioStar (now ThermoBioStar).
