Matthias Düchting, head of Tecan's European sales organization and a member of the company's executive committee, is leaving the company "by mutual agreement," Tecan said.

Jürg Dübendorfer, head of business unit services and consumables, has assumed responsibility for European sales on an interim basis. Dübendorfer has been with Tecan since 2001.

Kreatech Diagnostics has appointed Kees Moonen as CEO and Daan Ellens as chairman of the supervisory board.

Moonen started his career at Rhein Biotech and was CEO of Green Cross Vaccine until 2007.

Ellens is venture partner at Kreatech investor LSP, one of several participants in a €2 million ($3 million) financing round that closed in September. Ellens is also chairman of the supervisory board of Prosensa.
