NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) –Life Technologies will offer Sage Science's Pippin Prep DNA size selection system under a deal announced today by Sage Science.

The system is for use on the Ion Torrent Personal Genome Machine.

Pippin Prep is an automated gel electrophoresis system designed for preparing size-fractionated DNA samples, and, Sage Science said, an automated workflow with the system improves speed, yield, quality, and reproducibility of next-gen library construction.
