NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Human DNA identification technology company IntegenX today said it has earned ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system.
The Pleasanton, Calif.-based company manufactures the RapidHit System for human identification and said that the certification covers its design, development, manufacture, and distribution of automated DNA identification systems.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is for certifying quality management systems focusing on "customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, active involvement of senior management and employees, and the adoption of a process approach," IntegenX said, adding the certification implies customers will benefit from products that are robust and reliable.
