Illumina Names VWR as US Distributor for qPCR Products

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Illumina said today that VWR International will distribute its portfolio of qPCR products in the US.

Illumina's qPCR portfolio includes the Eco Real-Time PCR System and NuPCR reagents.

The agreement extends Illumina’s reach for these products into "thousands of laboratories and facilities nationwide," Illumina said.

"We are very excited to join forces with VWR to accelerate adoption of our qPCR portfolio, particularly into the pharmaceutical and industrial markets where VWR has a strong presence," Mark Lewis, senior vice president and GM of Illumina’s Molecular Biology and PCR business, said in a statement.

VWR will begin accepting customer orders for Illumina’s qPCR portfolio in December.
