NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Phthisis Diagnostics announced on Thursday it has reached a deal for the distribution of its Simply Molecular product line in Latin America.

The deal with Bio Products is Phthisis' first international distribution agreement, the Charlottesville, Va.-based company said. Phthisis currently offers the E-Sphere Simple NA kit for extracting nucleic acids from samples, and future products are anticipated to include molecular diagnostics for parasites and fungi, and molecular standards for improved laboratory quality control.
