ZyGem, Morpho Ink Forensics Alliance

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – ZyGem today said it has signed an agreement under which Morpho will market the firm's sample preparation and forensics analysis products to police forces worldwide.

The deal with Morpho, a subsidiary of the Safran Group that sells identity management and security control products, includes a strategic research and development collaboration. Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The collaboration builds on a separate collaboration between ZyGem and Lockheed Martin to develop an integrated sample-to-answer system aimed at the forensics market.
