NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Streck said today that it has inked an agreement with Genomax Technologies for the distribution of Streck's cell stabilization and molecular products in Singapore and Malaysia.
Streck's cell stabilization products include a liquid reagent that stabilizes cell-free DNA in urine; and blood collection tubes to preserve whole-blood specimens for immunophenotyping by flow cytometry, to stabilize nucleated blood cells and prevent the release of genomic DNA, and to stabilize circulating RNA in plasma and prevent the release of non-target background RNA from blood cells during sample processing and storage.
Streck's molecular product line includes kits for the detection of antibiotic resistance genes by multiplex real-time PCR and a soon-to-launch rapid real-time PCR instrument called the Zulu RT.
"We are delighted to represent Streck in Singapore and Malaysia to enable clinicians and life science researchers to conveniently access Streck's cell stabilization products," Linsheng Wong, managing director at Genomax Technologies, said in a statement. "In addition, Streck's innovative molecular products will help to address the needs of clinical laboratories for rapid and robust molecular diagnostics assay."
