Pressure BioSciences Inks Benelux Distribution Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Pressure BioSciences today said that it has signed a distribution deal covering the Benelux countries with LA Biosystems, a Netherlands-based life sciences firm.

Under the deal, LA Biosystems has exclusive rights to sell Pressure Bio's Pressure Cycling Technology sample preparation instruments and consumables in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. It also receives non-exclusive rights to market and sell Pressure Bio's Shredder SG3 device and related consumables in the same countries.

"We have an aggressive commercialization plan for our PCT-based and other products for 2012," Nate Lawrence, VP of marketing for Pressure Bio, said in a statement. "Integral to this plan is the expansion of our sales reach into the thousands of biological research laboratories outside the US."

Pressure Bio recently signed a marketing deal with IUL Instruments for Germany and Switzerland.
