People in the News: Great Basin Hires Two New Employees

Great Basin said that it has hired Lisa Weingartner as regional business manager for the southeast US region and Richard Corbiel as applications specialist.

Weingartner joins Great Basin from Lineagen, where she held the position of regional business director. Prior to that, she worked for Genoptix, Athena Diagnostics, Specialty Labs, and Myriad Genetics.

Corbiel joins Great Basin from BD Diagnostics, where he managed that company's team of molecular client consultants. Prior to BD, Corbiel held similar positions at GeneOhm Sciences (now part of BD), BioMérieux, and Gen-Probe (now part of Hologic).
