People in the News: Eibel Joins RainDance Technologies

RainDance Technologies said this week that it has appointed Frederick Eibel as senior vice president of strategic marketing.

Eibel most recently served as head of genetic analysis commercial operations at Agena Bioscience, which was previously the genetic analysis division of Sequenom. Eibel was involved with the sale and integration of the division to Telegraph Hill Partners. Prior to his time at Agena and Sequenom, Eibel held similar roles at Gen-Probe (now Hologic); Life Technologies (now Thermo Fisher Scientific); and Roche Diagnostics. He also serves on the board of MolecularMD.
