NEB, Lumora Ink Manufacturing, Supply Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – New England Biolabs today announced a manufacturing and supply agreement with molecular diagnostics firm Lumora.

NEB will manufacture and supply its Bst 2.0 DNA polymerase, a component of Lumora's bioluminescent assay in real time (BART) technology. The product is an in silico-designed homologue of Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase I, large fragment, NEB said on its website, and is used for isothermal amplification.

Additionally, NEB will manufacture and supply supporting reagents that Lumora will use for its molecular diagnostic assay products.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
