Kreatech Offering Iris' FISH Sample Prep Product

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Kreatech Diagnostics today announced a distribution agreement covering Iris Sample Processing's automated fluorescent in situ hybridization sample preparation product.

Kreatech will now include Iris' ThermoBrite Elite Automated Laboratory Assistant in its product portfolio. Combined with Kreatech's DNA-FISH products, the technologies will reduce the hand-on time of customers while increasing throughput, Kreatech said. Dedicated protocols developed by the Dutch firm for use on ThermoBrite Elite will additionally increase reproducibility and standardization for FISH testing, it added.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
