NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – BGI and Diagenode are collaborating to implement standard methods in epigenetics and next-generation sequencing sample preparation.
Under a deal announced today, Diagenode will provide BGI early access to its new developments in chromatin or DNA methylation analysis methods and tools. Diagenode is working to improve consistency and precision of enrichment assays — such as ChIP, methylated DNA immunoprecipitation, methyl-binding domain capture, bisulfite conversion, and DNA fragmentation — prior to sequencing.
Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
