Agilent Licenses Thermal Cycler Tech from Eppendorf

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Eppendorf today said that it has licensed US patents covering thermal cycler technology to Agilent Technologies.

The German firm licensed US Patent Nos. 6,767,512 and 7,074,367 to Agilent. The technology is used in Eppendorf's Mastercycler pro gradient, Mastercycler nexus gradient, and Mastercycler ep realplex models.

Financial and other terms of the license were not disclosed.

This past September Eppendorf licensed patents covering gradient technology for thermal cyclers to Bulldog Bio.
