Pistoia Alliance

The Pistoia Alliance is a non-profit alliance of life science companies, vendors, publishers, and academics that support life sciences research and development.

The project seeks to develop standardized guidelines and tools to map terms across ontologies and help simplify data search and integration.

The company joins the Pistoia Alliance as a participating member and the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health as an organizational member.

During the Pistoia Alliance meeting held in Boston last week, representatives from three groups demonstrated pilot platforms for delivering cloud-based next-generation sequence data services with an eye toward the needs of pharmaceutical researchers.

The companies will partner with the Pistoia Alliance to develop a platform for enhancing access to genetic sequencing data.
