NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — The New York Genome Center has signed a 20-year lease for 170,000 square feet of space in a high rise in downtown Manhattan, the institute said today.

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – The New York Genome Center said today that it plans to use a new $3 million grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to begin recruiting bioinformatics and sequencing specialists.

The New York Genome Center said today that it plans to sequence 1,000 genomes from Alzheimer's patients over the next four years in order to better understand the genetic basis of the disease and the factors that contribute to disease risk and susceptibility.
