NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Mississippi State University has received a $10 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to provide five years of funding for three core animal and human health research centers focused on genomics, imaging, and veterinary medicine, MSU said today.

The Plant-Associated Microbe Gene Ontology Consortium presented a vocabulary resource comprising more than 700 words focusing on microbe-host interactions. The words appear as part of eight papers is a special supplement to BMC Microbiology.
