NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – The New York State Legislature has approved $105 million in funding for a genomic medicine program that will include researchers at the New York Genome Center and the University of Buffalo.

The funding was proposed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in his "State of the State" remarks in early January.
