NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – The National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation intends to fund research that combines physical and quantitative science with biomedical research to develop transformative biomarker technologies, as well as research in imaging, informatics, and biomaterials.

The Transforming Biomedicine at the Interface of the Life and Physical Sciences grant will support research that intermingles the two scientific fields in a range of areas.
