Infectious disease diagnostics firm ZeptoMetrix has launched its research-use-only NATtrol Monkeypox Virus External Run Control, a third-party molecular quality control that can be used by laboratories to evaluate and monitor the performance of their monkeypox virus PCR tests. The ready-to-use, inactivated, whole organism control is refrigerator stable and each pack contains six 0.5 milliliter vials.
