Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a rapid environmental surveillance test, called Renvo Rapid PCR Test, to detect SARS-CoV-2 in air. It is designed to be used on air samples collected with the company's Thermo Scientific AerosolSense Sampler. The test utilizes proprietary Oscar PCR technology and produces results in 30 minutes.
