Streamline Genomics SeeqVCF

Streamline Genomics has introduced SeeqVCF, an application to filter VCF files to simplify genome analysis. SeeqVCF resides locally in a browser so no sensitive data has to be sent over the internet to the cloud. Montreal-based Streamline said that the app can produce results in less than a minute after the user loads a file and inputs target genes. SeeqVCF, like the Seeq.bio search engine Streamline introduced in September, is free for individual users. Licenses are available for enterprises and power users.
