Precipio Second-Generation HemeScreen Assays

Precipio has launched the second generation of its HemeScreen panels. The new assays reduce time and labor by eliminating confirmation step, reducing the process to a single step, the company said.

The New Haven, Connecticut-based cancer diagnostics company said the second-generation panels reduces the bench work needed to complete an assay by about 25 percent and shortens the turn-around time by eliminating that positive confirmation step required in first-generation panels. The new version of the assays delivers positive and negative results within about three hours.
