Nexcelom Cellaca PLX Image Cytometry System

PerkinElmer subsidiary Nexcelom has launched its Cellaca PLX Image Cytometry System, which is a research-use instrument with an automated workflow for assessing critical quality attributes such as cell identity, quality, and quantity. The instrument provides extended cell sample analysis options beyond flow cytometry and staining methods and provides immunophenotyping, cell counts, and viability readouts in seconds. PerkinElmer said the instrument is expected to be especially helpful for researchers who want to streamline immune cell phenotyping in CAR-T cell therapy studies.
