Mission Bio: Tapestri Solution for Solid Tumor Research

Mission Bio has launched the Tapestri Solution for Solid Tumor Research.

This single-cell DNA sequencing workflow for Mission Bio's Tapestri platform includes a nuclei isolation prep protocol, pre-designed research panels for breast cancer and glioblastoma multiforme, and an improved single-cell copy number variation (CNV) bioinformatic analysis tool. The new solid tumor workflow adds to the company's existing workflow for hematological cancers. 

Tapestri measures DNA alterations at the individual cell level in thousands of cells at a time, co-detecting single nucleotide variations, indels, and CNVs, definitively identifying variant zygosity and mutational co-occurrence, and detecting rare cell populations, the company said.
