Meridian Bioscience Air-Dryable Direct DNA qPCR Plant Mix

Meridian Bioscience has launched the Air-Dryable Direct DNA qPCR Plant Mix for the development and manufacture of multiplexed, highly sensitive, and economical molecular field tests in AgBio. The mix uses a unique polymerase and buffer system optimized for direct amplification from crude plant lysates, obviating a DNA purification step. In addition, the 4x concentration format facilitates the development of ambient temperature-stable assays without the need for lyophilization, making it ideal for manufacturing field-friendly, sensitive, and cost-effective molecular plant assays, Meridian said.
