Lynx Dx MyProstateScore 2.0 test kit

Lynx Dx has launched its MyProstateScore 2.0 (MPS2) prostate cancer test kit for at-home collection of urine samples that are tested in the company's Michigan laboratory. MPS2 is a PCR assay that analyzes a set of 18 gene transcripts to predict the presence of clinically significant prostate cancer. Physicians can now order the test for patients to complete at home without the need for a digital rectal examination. The results are used to help healthcare providers determine which patients with elevated PSA levels should proceed to biopsy.
