Illumina RUO Urinary Pathogen ID/AMR Panel

Illumina has announced a new sequencing panel for identifying genitourinary pathogens and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The research-use only Urinary Pathogen Infectious Disease/AMR panel quantifies 170 pathogens — including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasitic microbes — and more than 3,700 resistance markers for 18 drugs. The workflow takes less than 48 hours and uses Explify for data analysis. It also identifies more than 20 sexually-transmitted pathogens.
