GetMyDNA PGx Test Home Collection Kit

GetMyDNA has launched its PGx Test Home Collection Kit, designed to provide individuals with information about how they might react to certain specific medications. GetMyDNA currently checks for 88 different medicaitions, and will add more as guidance is received from the US Food and Drug Administration, the company said. Individuals in any of the 50 US states can order a mail-in home collection kit through the company’s website, with free overnight shipping provided both ways. Test kit users self-collect samples with a non-invasive cheek swab, which are sent to Gravity Diagnostics, a CAP-accredited, CLIA-certified laboratory.
