Applied BioCode STI+ Resistance Panel

Applied BioCode has launched the STI+ Resistance Panel for research use only on the BioCode MDx-3000 system. This multiplex nucleic acid amplification test qualitatively detects DNA from Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Trichomonas vaginalis (TV), Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), as well as macrolide-resistant and fluoroquinolone-resistant SNP mutations in a single reaction. Results are generated approximately four hours post-DNA extraction using the MDx-3000 platform, which features an intuitive protocol and reporting software and can accommodate up to 96 samples per test run, the company said.
