10x Genomics Visium HD Spatial Gene Expression Assay
10x Genomics has launched Visium HD, a higher-resolution version of its Visium spatial gene expression assay. Using 2-µm2 gapless tiles to barcode transcripts, the assay enables researchers to measure the whole transcriptome from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a single-cell scale. Visium HD can integrate H&E or immunofluorescence images from the same tissue section, while the firm's Space Ranger and Loupe Browser software enables analysis and visualization.
