10x Genomics Chromium Xo

10x Genomics has launched the Chromium Xo, a new lower cost version of its single-cell isolation instrument. Chromium Xo is specifically designed to run 10x's GEM-X 3' single-cell gene expression assay. It carries a US list price of $25,000. 10x said it will provide a path for customers to upgrade the Chromium Xo to the higher-throughput Chromium X to access the company's full single cell portfolio, including assays for formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded samples and immune profiling.
