Meridian Bioscience Air-Dryable RT-qPCR Mix

Meridian has launched its Air-Dryable RT-qPCR mix, a specialized master mix designed for air drying instead of lyophilization. The ready-to-use mix has ambient temperature stability and removes the need for cold chain shipping and storage, the company said. Its one-tube format chemistry contains all the reagents necessary for RT-qPCR, including magnesium, dNTP, and reverse transcriptase.

The mix is designed to simplify development, manufacturing, and storage of molecular tests, along with delivering fast detection of RNA targets, making the mix ideal for COVID-19 testing, the firm said. Meridian added that the mix has high performance in singleplex and multiplex reactions after rehydration.

MIODx ClonoMap Immune Profiler

MIODx has introduced ClonoMap Immune Profiler, a cloud-based portal for immune repertoire analysis and data management hosted on the DNAnexus Titan platform. ClonoMap Immune Profiler also performs secondary analysis and visualization of repertoire profiles for individuals or disease or treatment cohorts. The company said that it validated the pipeline with data generated by its ClonoMap Repertoire Profiling Kit.

New England Biolabs NEBNext Custom RNA Depletion Design Tool, Core Reagent Set

New England Biolabs has launched the NEBNext Custom RNA Depletion Design Tool and NEBNext RNA Depletion Core Reagent Set for improved removal of specific types of RNA. Customers can apply the tool to design custom probe sequences for their target RNAs, which can be used with the core reagent set or with other NEBNext RNA Depletion Kits. The kits utilize the NEBNext RNase H-based depletion workflow, which can be completed in two hours with 10 minutes of hands-on time.
